Clube de desbravadores terra de heróis tem esse nome por causa da cidade que carrega esse slogan por ter sido palco da guerra entre Brasil e o Paraguai. Aqui na nossa cidade que se chama Antônio João o coronel deu a vida pela pátria e ficou conhecido como Antônio João terra de heróis.
Por isso o nome do clube é terra de heróis.

Nosso clube tem seu local de atividades no parque histórico onde foi o local exato da guerra do Brasil e o Paraguai.
