O Clube Pequenina Luz foi fundado em 23 de Abril de 2009, a partir do voto da comissão dirigido pelo pastor Ivanildo Caetano. Nesta data foi definida a primeira diretoria, formada por Cleusa Gonçalves, Jucilene Borges, Michelli Dourado. Ficou definido também que a coordenadora seria Joana Caetano, sendo responsável pelo treinamento da equipe.
A sede ficou sendo na igreja, com reuniões aos domingos.
