O clube surgiu no ano de 98 quando Joel Matos, chegou para o bairro e começou a congregar na igreja de boa vista de são caetano. Como a igreja havia acabado de se estabelecer não existia clube de desbravadores e a partir daí ele iniciou a abertura do clube que existe desde então.
